This heavy-duty, compact machine slices the insulation from your scrap wire and cable, for quick and easy removal of the clean copper and aluminum cores. It features a three-quarter HP motor, 110v/60 hz single phase or 220v/50hz single phase.
The blade is made from 4140 steel, hardened to 57 Rockwell and can be sharpened. This means that the blade will last for thousands of feet of wire with proper use and adjustment – twice the lifetime of regular cutting blades. Its compact size makes it a great work-top unit, and you can easily mount it on a work cart to make it a portable unit.
