Jordan Reduction Solutions shredders
Jordan Reduction Solutions builds shredders to handle the most severe applications. All of Jordan’s shredder components are engineered and constructed to handle your most rugged applications with long-term reliability.
Jordan industrial shredders use low-speed, high-torque hook shear blades that are manufactured of high-alloy heat-treated steel mounted on hexagonal shafts. The shredders are available with cutting chambers ranging in size from 17” by 14” to 60” by 40”, and motors ranging from 10 HP to 450 HP.
Counter-rotating shafts turn at slightly different speeds, increasing the efficiency of the cutting action. The PLC controller senses any overloads caused by foreign material, which causes the shaft rotation to stop and reverse direction to clear the foreign matter and then start up again. A patented shock absorber drive train absorbs shock loads caused by normal shredding operation.
