Excel Models 2R9 and 2R10 balers
These horizontal balers feature interlocking construction and automated operation. The 2R9 and 2R10 feature an interlocking chassis design. The sidewall of the chassis is tabbed into slots in the floor of the baler, making it the strongest chassis in the industry. Excel uses a rotator jig during the welding process that spins the entire chassis 360 degrees, allowing the welding to be done “in position” so there are no weld seams. This results in the strongest triple-pass welds possible - Excel chassis sidewalls don’t bow, crack or bend.
The 2R9 and 2R10 balers use linear transducers installed inside all cylinders (the main gathering ram cylinder, the eject cylinder and the bale separation door cylinder) for the most accurate ram positioning system available in the market today. It’s not necessary to have an operator at the control console, which means you can save thousands of dollars in labour costs each year.
- Materials baled: office paper, newspaper, OCC, magazines, PET, HDPE, aluminum cans, tin cans, painted aluminum siding, aluminum extrusions, insulated wire, radiators, copper wire and other materials.
