This heavy-duty, compact machine slices the insulation from your scrap wire and cable, for quick and easy removal of the clean copper and aluminum cores. It features a three-quarter HP motor, 110v/60 hz single phase or 220v/50hz single phase.
The blade is made from 4140 steel, hardened to 57 Rockwell. This means that the blade will last for hundreds of thousands of feet of wire – twice the lifetime of regular cutting blades. Its compact size makes it a great work-top unit, and you can easily mount it on a work cart to make it a portable unit.
